Sourced from a single vineyard from Kenton Valley in the Adelaide Hills. The vineyard is easterly facing with an elevation of 450m, two clones were used - 95 and I10V1. The site produces wines with elegant and pure fruit characteristics.
Handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly to two French oak hogsheads with 50% New oak. Barrels were allowed to ferment wildly with indigenous yeast then undergo 50% Malo-lactic fermentation to build complexity and structure. Lees stirred for 6 months before being bottled.
