This small batch Pinot Gris is slightly off centre! Almost Salmon Rose in colour has a luscious Rose petal and turkish delight characters with saline minerality and subtle savoury textural finish.
A small portion underwent Carbonic maceration while then finishing fermentation in old French oak barrels. 50% of the blend was crushed to open fermenters for 4 days before finishing ferment in stainless steel, the balance had minimal skin contact and was clarified before fermentation. The resultant wine is luscious with subtle textural and savoury nuances perfect for alfresco dining.
